History
A vision turned reality
Serve the Kingdom International Ministries was established by Luis Carlos & Lyndsee Martinez. After spending a large amount of time in the village of Buenos Aires in La Paz, Honduras, building relationships and assessing the needs there, our work and its impact started to draw attention. Local pastors and community leaders started contacting us to asking for help. Luis Carlos, having been raised in La Paz all his life, decided that before moving to the United States, he wanted to build an organization that would be a legal and trusted way to give back to his community and people. With that, Serve the Kingdom International Ministries became official in 2023. Soon thereafter, a Board of Directors was created out of a desire for accountability and wisdom in our decision-making process. Before Serve the Kingdom became official, its leaders began their ministry in late 2021 by serving one community of about 500 people. As of 2024, Serve the Kingdom now partners with six communities in La Paz, Honduras, other non-profit organizations, the U.S. Air Force and National Guard for aid programs, and is impacting more than 50,000 people.
